The Minister of Public Works, Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Ebrahim, was accompanied yesterday by senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works to visit the Jahra Road Development Project, as well as the Jamal Abdul Nasser Street Project.
As part of the visit, the Minister and his team received details on both projects, including full briefs on the recent updates. The key purpose of the Minister’s visit was to personally view the progress made on the two largest infrastructure projects in Kuwait, as well as the world's largest multi-level roads.
The Minister was accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Al-Hassan, Assistant Undersecretary for Roads Engineering, Abdul Karim Sultan, the Director of Highway Administration, as well as Anwar AlMutar the PR Officer of the Ministry of Public Works and Sulaiman Al-Dosary, Secretary to the Assistant Undersecretary for Roads Engineering. Senior members from the teams from both projects also accompanied the Minister on his tour of the projects.
The tour commenced from the UN Roundabout, to the launching gantry on the Hospital Road. The gantry is used to lift up the segments that have already been manufactured in the precast yard.
