The Ministry of Public Works announced today that significant progress has been made on the Jahra Road Development Project, and it has now reached 45.7% completion.
Yasser Boudastour, Project Engineer at the Jahra Road Development Project, commented: “The Jahra Road Development Project represents one of the key solutions for the traffic congestion problems in Kuwait.”
Boudastour added, “A total of 862 segments have been erected, 500 of these have been placed on the main line on Jahra Road that commences at the UN Roundabout, and extends until the Saad AlAbdullah Academy.
Boudastour also mentioned the importance of following all safety standards in the project and the steps taken to ensure the safety of all workers from getting injured. As of today the project has reached 9 million and 5 hundred thousand working hours without any injuries.
